YHFJW-A SF6 decomposition product tester
The effective range of the SF6 decomposition analyzer for SO2+SOF2 and H2S is 0-100ppm, HF is 0-20ppm, and CO is 0-1000ppm. The measurement accuracy for SO2+SOF2, H2S, and HF is ≤ 2ppm, with an error of ≤± 0.1ppm; When the measured value is greater than 2ppm, the error is ≤± 0.2ppm
Although gases have good chemical stability and excellent electrical properties, due to design, material, and process reasons, there are insulation defects and poor connection of conductive rods inside the equipment, which can cause SF6 gas and solid insulation materials to decompose and even cause accidents, affecting the normal operation of power production.
At present, there are two testing methods for SF6 electrical equipment: electrical method and chemical method. Electrical methods are generally carried out during power outages, and the test voltage is low and the current is small, making it difficult to detect early potential hazards of the equipment; The chemical methods in the regulations include SF6 purity, humidity, and leak detection items, which can only evaluate installation and maintenance processes and are not directly related to internal faults. At present, some units use the chemical colorimetric tube method to detect decomposition products, but due to its low sensitivity, it can only be used for qualitative or semi quantitative detection. It is more suitable for locating the faulty parts after accidents and difficult to detect early equipment failures.
The YHFJW-A SF6 decomposition product analyzer is an electrochemical sensor with high sensitivity and good stability selected by our company after in-depth investigation and research. It can also detect the content of decomposition products such as SO2+SOF2, H2S, CO, etc. Combined with advanced detection processes and fault diagnosis software, it can quickly and accurately detect internal faults of the equipment.
When SF6 electrical equipment malfunctions, the SF6 gas and solid insulation material in the fault area will crack under the action of heat and electricity, producing sulfides, fluorides, and carbides. Sulfides mainly include SO2, H2S, SOF2, SF4, and SO2F2; Fluorides mainly include HF, CF4, and metal fluorides; Carbides mainly include CO, CO2, and low molecular weight hydrocarbons. Except for SO2, H2S, CO, and CF4, which have relatively low toxicity, the other decomposition products mentioned above are all highly toxic substances with extremely low and unstable content inside the equipment. Among them, SOF2, SF4, etc. will further hydrolyze to produce SO2 and HF. Therefore, the concentration of SO2 in SF6 gas is the sum of direct decomposition and hydrolysis; It has been found from a large number of fault examples that H2S is a characteristic component of thermosetting epoxy resin cracking.
The YHFJW-A SF6 decomposition analyzer is specially selected with a highly sensitive sulfur dioxide sensor for SOF2. The detected value is actually the total content of SO2 and SOF2, and can simultaneously detect the content of decomposition products such as SO2+SOF2, H2S, CO, etc. According to user requirements, HF and dew point detection can also be added to more accurately detect the nature and location of internal faults in various SF6 electrical equipment. The instrument is produced strictly in accordance with the requirements of the national metrological verification regulations (JJG551-2003 and JJG695-2003). The instrument uses anti cross interference technology, has electrochemical sensor self activation function and zero position automatic correction function, and has the characteristics of high sensitivity, short measurement time, and simple and convenient operation.
